Installing Android Apps via Email
An easy and quick way to install Katz Midas In-House Corporate Apps is to send them by email. From time to time, our support staff may send an update link or embedded app in an email if an important update exists or we inform you of an update via this push method. When you open your email on your Android-powered device, the Android system recognizes the APK and displays an Install Now button in the email message. You can install your app by touching the button as shown below.
Installing Android Apps via the Web
Due to the fact that several of our applications are In-House Corporate applications, we don't have the desire to list them in a world-wide forum like the Google Play Store. As such, we make them available for download on our own enterprise server (in addition to pushing them to you via email).
When your select a download link from their Android-powered devices, the file is downloaded and Android system automatically starts installing it on the device. However, the installation process will start automatically only if users have configured their Settings to allow the installation of apps from unknown sources.
Users must enable the Unknown sources setting before they can install apps not downloaded from the Google Play store as shown below.
